Keep your feet dry yet still experience and learn about the Great Salt Lake wetlands. The Nature Conservancy dedicated a visitors center at the Great Salt Lake Shorelands Preserve. Designed to emphasize the Lake’s ecological importance — particularly for millions of birds — the Visitor Center engages audiences of all ages. Key features include inspiring educational exhibits, a boardwalk trail through prime bird-watching habitat, and stunning vistas from a 30-foot-high viewing tower.

School and youth groups are welcome through the innovative Wings & Water Wetlands Educational program.
