(Full Story) October 25, 2011 - Standard Examiner Layton to Receive Money for Walkway Davis County Tourism Tax Advisory Board agreed to recommend to the Davis County Commission that Layton city receive $100,000 from the tourism revenue fund to help with the construction of a 1,350-linear-foot pedestrian walkway within its inner-city commercial district. The 12-year-old from Springfield, OR., liked the landscape shots but wanted something a little closer up. (Full Story) June 24, 2011 Governor Herbert's Proclamation of Utah State Parks Road Trip Week Due in large part to the publicity of the role the DACVB played in the Utah State Park Road Trip, Governor Herbert has issued a proclamation that the first week of August shall be called "Utah State Parks Road Trip Week" and encourages state residents to get out and visit all 43 of Utah's diverse, scenic, historic, informative and recreational State Parks. Then, they backed doing away with any such tax. And since 62-year-old Don Bradshaw can usually be found on the back of a horse, she knew the perfect way to get her dad alone.
