Birding Information

Registration for the GSL Bird Festival - March 4th. Registration and tours fill up fast - so register ASAP! Or as soon after 9AM on March 4th as you can.

Great Salt Lake Bird Festival - May 13 - 17, 2010

This is the Festival's 12th annual year. People come from all over the US to watch the birds, and find their favorites. And you're invited. Please see their website for more information about daily events. They also list the birds seen in previous Festivals on the home page.

Acclaimed author Terry Tempest Williams will be the Keynote Speaker on Saturday, May 15th.  Registration for Great Salt Lake Bird Festival programs begins at 9 am, March 4th on-line or by calling 801-451-3278.

Bill Fenimore, the 2008 American Birding Association Ludlow Griscom Award-winner for Outstanding Contributions in Regional Ornithology will present on Friday, May 14th.  Bill also runs the Wild Bird Center in Layton.
