Where/What is the Davis Area?

We're the county just north of Salt Lake County. In fact, the hotels on the south end of the county are the same distance from the airport as those in downtown SLC. Our hotels are at exits along Interstate 15, for easy access - and to get you on your way to the slopes!

Why should you consider Davis Area hotels?

Several reasons:

Davis County is central to Utah's best ski resorts: with Snowbasin and Powder Mountain on the north, and the major Wasatch resorts to the south. We're only 15 - 30 minutes (depending on where you stay) from the Salt Lake airport - and we have all of the features of larger cities (shopping, spas, over 250 wonderful restaurants, great lodging, movie and live theatre) - at a fraction of the cost of the resorts or the "big" city. Most Davis hotels offer discounted packages to either the northern resorts (Snowbasin, Powder Mountain) and/or the Salt Lake Super Pass (Alta, Snowbird, Solitude and Brighton). Park City resorts are only 40 minutes away.

The uncrowded, powder-covered slopes of Snowbasin and Powder Mountain are close-by. Snowbasin is 20 minutes from our Hospitality Zone hotels, and Powder Mountain is only 35 minutes.  Wasatch front resorts are 40 - 50 minutes, and Park City resorts are about 40 - 60 minutes away.

We've got it all! Why go anywhere else?

Transportation

The hotels in the south end of the county offer free airport transfers. Once you get to your hotel, you can get better rates on rental cars than on-airport-property car rentals.

Hospitality Zone and North Davis properties do not have shuttle vans, however you can catch a ride with airport shuttle companies. Runabouts Shuttle is our preferred provider at (801)298-0300

Most major rental car companies are located at the Salt Lake International Airport and many have outlets in Salt Lake and Davis Counties.

• Weekly rental rates are usually a lot cheaper than daily rates, even if you don't use the car for the entire week.
• Car Rental companies will usually come to your hotel to pick you up, take you back to their facility to sign the paper work - then off you go!
